I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for the "Wild Things" program. This is an outstanding program that is presented in classrooms in our Elementary Schools. It is very educational and motivational for student learning.
I have been to Frost Elementary School to watch the "Wild Things" presentations. They instruct as they walk around the classroom allowing the students to touch the animals and birds. They encourage questions as they teach. The students are captivated and almost spell-bound for the entire presentation. Mr. Bill Smith, the Science Supervisor for the Granite School District, also gives this great program his recommendation.

Testimonials From Teachers
I want to thank you for bringing your Wild Things animal science program to our fourth grade class. My students thoroughly enjoyed your presentation and seeing your animals. You had a nice representation of the five classes of vertebrates and even some invertebrates. Since we study all of these types of animals, your program greatly enhanced my curriculum and made studying animals more fun and relevant for my students. You were also very kind to my students. They were so excited to see what you had, and you were very patient with their enthusiasm. I hope you will be able to return to visit us next year.
Sincerely,

Testimonials From Students
Dear Wild Things,
The "Wild Things" assembly was terrific! Having those animals come to my school was so exciting and different! This program taught me a lot, it helps the animals, and it was the best assembly I’ve ever attended. Most assemblies I don’t learn a lot, but "Wild Things" was different. I love animals, so I was way excited to see these unique species. Touching the animals was awesome—so many diverse textures. The coolest assembly ever was "Wild Things." I believe this is a great learning opportunity for kids and it is fantastic and fun!
Sincerely,
Claire
Dear Wild Things,
I really liked the animals, but I really, really liked the parrot named Clifford with throat cancer. He taught me not to smoke because it can really mess your life up and once I heard about his throat cancer it made me think to not smoke. I really really hope we can do it again real soon!
Sincerely,
Emily
Dear Wild Things,
Thank you for visiting our class. We learned many things about animals and their habitats. Thank you very much for teaching us about them. You were so nice to come visit us. Thank you for letting us pet the animals. My favorite animal was the snake from Mexico. I didn’t know that a king snake can kill a rattle snake! And the chinchilla that comes from the South American Mountains was so soft.
Thank you for coming again,

Dear Wild Things,
I am a student at Morningside Elementary School in the Granite School District. Recently, we had "Wild Things" come to our school, and it was a very enjoyable experience. I learned all about animals, it enriched my curriculum, and it was a great experience. Our presenter taught us all about the responsibilities of having an exotic pet. Many animals might be saved because of your presentation. In school, we learn about animals from textbooks. Having the animals and a knowledgeable expert come and teach us will definitely stick in our minds more than a text book’s information. I’m sure that children who learn about animals from "Wild Things" will be more likely to go on into a career with animals. We got to touch the animals and even got to talk to a parrot! I was surprised at how fun your presentation was. I am sure I will remember it for the rest of my life.
Sincerely,
Ann
